1st Saturday of the month again, and here are my results from the match.

Nothing that special but good for 1st on both targets.
Beat 2nd placs on X's.
Still nobody was rocking it.

50 yard entry - Shot 04/06/19
241-5X, Smoothtrigger.
Anschutz 1727F-22 CISM.
Unlimited Class.
NF 15-55X Competiton
Factory Action, Stock, and Barrel (Hunter Chamber). No Tuner.
Shot using a Bi-Pod, and a Protector Rear Bag.
Lapua Center-X.
Overcast, 60, Very light winds.

I hate shooting 8's. Had two on the 1st target, and still had one on the 2nd. Very annoying.

Anschutz 1727F-22 CISM.

Cooper TRP3 USBR

I'm not really sure where this post belongs, but is isn't a factory sporter.

50 yards - shot 6-28-19
244-6X, Ammohog
Cooper TRP3
Unlimited Class
Weaver 36T Dot
Total Factory, including trigger, No Tuner
Caldwell BR, Protektor 3" front, Protektor Rear Bag
Eley Match
Sunny, 1-2 mph wind

Fun day at the range. It's been a rough road getting the lead out of the grooves where they meet the chamber. It's getting better. I have been working on this for a while, first score was 224, then a week later 235, now this. Not bad for an old nearsighted guy with coke bottle bifocals. I think the best is yet to come. AH

First of all, nice shooting.
It would be nice to see a pic of the rifle and target.

As far as where to post, I'm strongly advocating for all classes of rifles to post on the Unlimited thread.
It's much easier for all of us to see how others are shooting with all the different classes of rifles vs. having one post show up every once in awhile on each of the various different classification threads.

Smooth

Cost of your rifle (over $500), power of your scope (over 24X), and cost of ammo (over $9.00) puts you into the Unlimited Class.

Thanks Smoothtrigger. As far as posting pictures, The Photobucket spazm broke me of that nasty habit, I deleted all pics there and haven't been back. Target was scored and gauged with the help of a range officer. Not much to see, the TRP3 is stock as a rock. Yep, it did cost a little over $500.

I would never question anyones scores, I just like to see the targets.

You know, just to see how the shooting progressed.
Did you shoot top to bottom form L-R, or vertically down each row?
Did you get any 8's, or any big flyers.
Just stuff like that.

I can look up your rifle but it's nice to see it on the bench in use.

Imgur is the way to go now without any of the PB issues.
However it you don't want to mess around with that, just posting up your results is appreciated.

Smooth

I place the targets on the stand with the sight in bulls at bottom left. With the Caldwell BR I use the sight in bulls then go over to the nearest bottom target, go across (right) then up and across (left) etc. When using the Rock Jr., I hang the targets the same, use the sight in bulls, start at the nearest bottom target and then up then down on next row etc. That seems to be easier for me, depending on rest used at the time. After all, we only have 20 minutes, and if another shooter calls "cold" (a lollygag'r who wants to stop and put tape over the first 6 bullet holes in their target) while you are shooting a USBR, you may need all the time saving methods available. Never had any time problems........... yet. AH

PS: No eights, just nines.
