Yes very good read, people use magic markers on them to see where they are contacting

The fitting allows the bolt to release the hammer stop!! The reason for this is to make sure the action is locked up properly for firing!
I had a contender 44mag that had the bolt stop removed when I bought it, every time I fired it the action would fly open! Got the parts and fit the bolt, issue resolved!!

This is good advice. I wouldn't want to remove the hammer block from my Contender, it's there for a purpose.

Got 4 running with the Hammer Block safety in place. Will have to buy a replacement part for #5! Thanks for all the help

Had to order another Block Safety as I had misplaced the original somewhere in my shop. Got it, stoned the fit now all 5 are working with the Hammer Block Safety installed Thanks everyone for the help
