I am looking at a Flowert 22 rifle. I am unable to find anything on the web or in any of my books that references it. The proof marks say Belgium . It looks to be in great shape. Can anyone help with any information. Thanks in advance.
It looks to have a hheavy octagonal barrel, with a front sight post like I have never seen, a large flat square rear notched sight, a decorative trigger guard, a long hooked butt plate, and thumped breach. The owner says it is a 22 lr, but the barrel is marked 22 L. I really wish I could upload the pics.
I think you may have the name wrong, try Flobert, they came with at least three different action designs, you might see something with this search - flobert+guns
You may be right. I scrolled through a lot of the pics on the link. Nothing was an exact match, but the roll marks looked the same, as well as the stock design . Ididn't see a trigger guard that matched but the design of the front section was very similar. That gIves me more to go on
