FWIW, my wife's 'Q' model came that way from the factory, even the manual's instructions for decocking it describes it that way (put on safe, pull trigger and lower hammer). Not saying the Walther guy is wrong, the 'QD' are likely all like that, but the manufacturing change apparently happened before that model was released.

Just mentioning it in case anyone else has a decockerless p22q and wonders if it's broken.
