They are nice guns and with proper care they will always perform. They are not particularly rare or "collectable" but they don't lose value either.

Check to make sure that the action screws are tight, check regularly.
Lubricate the hinge points of the barrel to action and also the cocking lever hinge points, ( may require you to remove the action from the stock.)
Rebuild kits are available if it starts shooting erratically or loses power.
Never put oil into the air port in the action.
Never dry fire i.e. without a pellet in the chamber.
Never try to shoot the heavier .177 pellets, 10 or 11 grain pellets is about max.
