Parts list of things that work on a 15-22

So, picked up my first 15-22 and was wondering if there was a list of furniture that fit well on the gun. Not counting rail accessories (unless it's something overlooked often).

Pistol Grips?
Handguards?
Stocks?

So far I'm leaning towards a Magpul grip but was told it doesn't fit perfectly?
I know that most if not all Milspec stocks work, here I'm leaning towards the CTR. Charge handle I'm going to go with Next Level. Edit: trigger group I'm hearing CMC is the sweet spot price to performance.

Thanks for any tips or ideas.

Any standard AR grip fits, I have a Hogue grip and butt stock on mine, very nice. The tube size is mil-spec, not commercial, so if you replace the butt stock make sure you order the correct size. The hand guard can be replaced with an AR type if you use the adapter from Tacticool 22.

I wanted mine to mirror my M4 as much as possible:

- Geissele 2-stage trigger
- Roger's Super Stoc buttstock
- Bravo Company Gunfighter pistol grip
- Fortis SHIFT Short Angled fore grip
- Troy Industries flip-up iron sights
- VG6 EPSILON muzzle brake
- Next Level Armament charging handle
- Vortex Crossfire Red Dot (Aimpoint PRO on my AR, but saved a little $ here)

Everything fits great and makes my 15-22 a sweet little trainer.

Hope this helps.

The Magpul BAD lever does NOT work without serious alterations. Here's a link to instructions.

I just use the NDZ lever
https://www.ndzperformance.com/NDZ-Smith-Wesson-15-22-SBR-Speed-Bolt-Release-p/ndz-sbr-blk.htm

The mag release button interchanges with standard AR parts.

NDZ also makes a pretty cheesy extended charging handle that works OK that used to be pretty cheap, but now it's $45 so I would recommend spending the extra $5 and getting the Next Level Armament charging handle.

Thanks, I'm already going with the next level charging handle, but probably going to wait a while for the NDZ. I do want a ambi safety and assume those will just drop in.

While this thread is new and not wanting to start a new one, I have a relevant question.. Will the Larue MBT-2s trigger drop in the 15-22 ? If so would it be advisable to also purchase some anti walk pins ? Thank you for any intel..
I'm going with the CMC because most people say it works well and the price is right. However right now I ordered some of those JP springs and going to polish the sear and hammer. But I see a lot of trigger saying "only for 223" and wondered if there was a list of triggers that work.

jokester945 - I have two 15-22's. The first one is the version when they first started shipping and the second I picked up a couple years back (which I prefer). Besides the heavy trigger (which I also replaced with CMC's ) I didn't care for the loose fit of the stock or the hard pistol grip. I put a Hogue AR-15/M16 Collapsible Buttstock & Finger Groove Beavertail Grip kit on each which, has a snug fit. I added Nikon P-Series picatinny scope mounts with Nikon 2-7x32 Rimfire scopes. I like the setup and sort of built them for the grand kids so I don't shoot them myself very often. We will see if they have any interest.

I currently have Jard single stage top adjustable triggers in my 15-22's and have also used the Hiperfire 24C in them as well, but I switched the 24Cs out to use in some other rifles and put the Jards back in.

I recommend using either the longer Colt 901 pins or KNS non-rotating pin sets specifically for the wider polymer 15-22 lower.

I use Battle Arms Development Ambi safeties which are also made for the wider poly lower.

I use my 15-22's for Rimfire Challenge, Steel Challenge, Bowling Pins etc.

C-More red dot with 16 minute dot module
Magpul CTR Butt Stock with .25" cheek riser
BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 3
Geissele Single-Stage Precision (SSP) Flat Bow Trigger with Colt 901 hammer & trigger pins
Tacticool22 handguard converter
Taccom 14" Ultralight Carbon Fiber Handguard
Volquartsen Carbon Fiber Barrel
Muzzle Brake so the timer can better "hear" shots fired
Lots of magazines and CCI 40 gr RN Mini-Mags

All function, no cosmetic stuff.
