Help identifying Model 37 originality

Log in to see fewer ads
I have the opportunity to buy a nice (in my opinion) Model 37. It's quite pricey, so i have a call into Remington with the serial number (0048xx) to see what they can tell me. Barrel code is BSS

Can anyone help me by telling me if the front and rear sights are original? Any other info on this rifle is highly appreciated. I know it's my first post, but i belong to a 1,000 other forums and this one seems to be the leading authority on Model 37s.

Thank you in advance for your time/help/advice!

Justin
