Air Arms TDR With Factory Moderator ... 76DB

Forbidden Fruit ... European Specification TDR
This is the quietest factory PCP I've been able to identify.
The Air Arms S410 TDR with factory moderator.

In the USA, the model is known as the 410 TDR - Take Down PCP Rifle
The barrel length of the TDR is 360mm or 14.18 inches.
In my eye is just about the ideal length for a carbine.

The US models also come in two configurations: with built in baffled shrouds
or Moderators as shown (extra cost of moderator).

The configuration with mod's require the mod to be removed when putting
in case vs. the shrouded models fit right inside the case.

When the stock is removed the power of the rifle is reduced.

This is so the gun complies with current UK gun law.

... In the U.K., where the TDR is built, you cannot own an air pistol that is over 6 ft-lbs.
Since this has 12 ft-lbs of energy, Air Arms had to make the gun
_non-operable when the buttstock is removed.

If they did not, the gun would exceed the legal limits in England.

Like all quality rifles, the TDR has a 12-groove Lothar Walther barrel,
a 2-stage adjustable trigger and walnut stock with an adjustable buttpad.

It's a 10-shot repeater, with space in the rear stock to hold more clips
_ that you can pre-load so you're always ready for more shots.

The air pressure gauge (manometer) always tells you how much air is left in the reservoir.

If you want to add a bipod, there's a rail under the forearm just for that purpose.
There are no DB readings listed for the U.S. specs model in either configuration.
