Using entry-level target rifles - ANSCHÜTZ 64 action....

ANSCHÜTZ, probably, does not have a lock on pure accuracy.
But, ANSCHÜTZ may have a near lock on trigger quality and selection.
This maybe the ANSCHÜTZ advantage.
At the entry level (CM-2 and ANSCHÜTZ 64) with equally skilled shooters,
I don't think a novice with a CM-2 is at any noticeable disadvantage.
For training or informal target practice, the CM-2 will perform well at a much lower cost.
