Thanks AOM22 for directing me to targettalk.org. I found a member there that had the exact problem that I had. That's right......(knock on wood), had! It turns out that the reason the hammer would not stay in the cocked position was due to a minor adjustment on the secondary sear. If you remove the left grip, you will find an adjustment screw about 1/2" in front of the primary safety. The screw faces the front of the gun. A minor adjustment of 1/4 turn counterclockwise and this gun is up and running again. I ran over 100 rounds through it of 2 different kinds of ammo(Aguila and CCI) without a single failure to cock the hammer after every round.

I would like to thank everyone that contributed to this effort with ideas. I have learned a ton about this gun, having taken it apart several times. I really was worried that it was ready for retirement and now that it's working again, I can't wait to get back on the line.

Thanks again
Dave
