We shoot 22 silhouette through the summer rotating through open sight, scoped and handgun. Just mounted a Williams FP and a Lyman globe on my 39a to use as my open sight rifle.
Helps control my urge...

Excellent choice. Bought one for my son 11 years ago. He's now 6'-4" and still loves that rifle. Won't let me fit it in a bigger stock :)
