Get the sights lined up for 25-50 yards.
Don't clean it yet.

Get a good 1-4 .22 scope setup.
Fix that to your sight setup....

Maybe the guy that has the gun now and couldn't remove the bbl. might try adjusting the 'lifter', that is, IF the guide-spring-tang isn't needed for LR cartridges...geez, Louise!
