I use 20 cal dewy rod on myn1712 with Mwerks guide. I found if I lift the rod over the ejector and start the jag or brush in the bore and then slip the guide in I have no problems with ejector...

Any one with bore scope found stainless barrels easier to clean than blued? I know from cleaning the cylinder on my revolver it iis easier to see if stainless is clean.

Thanks for all feedback. 527 cz in good looking gun so I may keep look out for deal for up in Canada things are hit and miss on price.

Only have 22 LR now and looking for something with more range for shooting paper. I can get 223 for about same cost as high end 17 hmr but don't want to start reloading at 68 years old.

Got the transfer paper work to bring the gun ...

Got the transfer paper work to bring the gun home today and gave it good look over and it does not appear to have been used to much. No drag mark on cylinder and wood grips are all in good shape....
