I'm with you 100%. I don't think the oil is needed in my particular case, because I don't recall having problems shooting CCI SV years ago, and I believe my pistol was clean when I took it out...

It's sad to say this, especially since for years...
It's sad to say this, especially since for years CCI SV has been my goto "better but not expensive ammo," but I'd feel a lot better knowing the malfunctions were caused by the ammo and not my pistol....
