I suggest trying the magazine lips mod if it jams. It takes 5 minutes tops and fixed all of my stovepipes. I'm sure someone here can post a link to the mod.

I cleaned it with a q-tip and solvent, but admittedly it wasn't the best way to clean it. Do you think a good cleaning will make it fall by gravity?

It doesn't really matter, do you know how many times you would have to release the bolt to have it wear out? ;)

I like the mod though, planning to add the spring soon.

Tazz I have the same holster. Got it for about 7 bucks at walmart. It was meant for airsoft I think but, hey, it works! Only prob is the front sight gets caught on the holster when I take it out.

I think it may be because the rubber grip comes down too far in the front where the magazine fits into the frame. It may be touching the mag.

With my gun gravity alone isn't enough to let the bolt release fall down. I guess there is some dirt or oil in the slot that makes it stick (even though I cleaned it). I will probably try this spring...

So I just finished the grip mod yesterday. Rushed it a little and put a couple of marks on the frame but no big deal. It turned out pretty good as you can see. Feels much better to shoot now.

Well if you mod the grip only how would you screw it on? You'd still need holes unless you glued or taped it on. Also, modding the frame lets you change to any grip rather effortlessly.

If you look in the pin hole at the back you can see if the frame is lined up with the barrel. That's what I do, works well.
