In terms of noise, yes I'm aware of the muzzle blast issue with something like 22WMR out of a pistol. I'm also aware of the increased volume from shooting next to a wall, berm or, stand of trees.

11 pounds is way too much for me. Heck, I wouldn't even pick up an 11lb AR-15 either whether it will smack flies at a 1,000 yards or not. Simply not practical for my needs.
