Be VERY carefull on how lite you adjust trigger. Had mine down to 2.50lbs and twice when i disengaged the safety the rifle fired when loaded. Had the muzzle pointed in a safe direction so no harm...

Just another thought, if it is an "oil finish" , remembering what NOREMF said about oil finishes most of them are merely a wiping varnish, so you should be able to remove them with either denatured...

I handled both the CZ-457 and the T1x last week....

I handled both the CZ-457 and the T1x last week. The shop also had a LH 452 American.
Comparing the 452 against the 457 the 452 won hands down. The wood was better,the checkering looked alot better...
