Demand varies a lot on the 22 Mag. rifles, and is really heavily dependent on condition. Now the 54 sporters in 22 LR are hot. The 22 Mag in the SA 164M & SA 141M, bring a lot of bids.

By my records, 803XXX most likely produced in 1970. Barrel date codes were somewhat hit or miss during this period.

Often the bolt will only have the last 4 digits of the SN engraved.

Front sight will be the 4 part sight that fit a dovetail on the front of the barrel or the sight mounts with 2 tapped holes on the end of the barrel. I see both types listed on eBay some times....

Yes, just watch the bidding now on SA164, SA141, 1415-1416, 1418, etc. Even in 22 WMR they get a lot of bidding. These older 64 class rifle seem to always create a lot of interest.
