I got lucky when I bought my 40x, I didn't realize it had a Jewell trigger. Both the rifle & the trigger are a joy to use. :bthumb::)

Hard to tell which trigger you have without pics. Mine is a Jewel with the set screw in the trigger piece to adjust the release weight.

I found the Sll to be much clearer than the Big Sky. I shoot from 50meters out to 300 (not really long distance) However as you stated, everyone's eyes are different.
