My favorite all the way through the MK series...

My favorite all the way through the MK series pistols has always been the stainless 5.5 in heavy bbl Target model. Gives adequate forward weight to steady the pistol and ample sight radius.

Congratulations on your new Ruger Government MKII pistol! I put the Volquartsen Accurizer kit in my MKII Target pistol and the results are outstanding. It's not cheap, but well worth it.
