5MM B Mag Barrel

Sorry i haven't posted an update. I set up a barrel for the 5MM in the same manner as the 17WSM. I had fired 5 rounds and is was functioning OK yet the brass was hard to extract. I figured the...

Aguila Website

The information listed on the Aguila website is not correct. Without even doing any math if you have a heavier bullet at a higher velocity it is going to have more energy.
Hope they produce the...

Thumbs up Headspace

I believe it was a 1/8 of a turn of the barrel from a PM message I had from Calalta.

The barrel is threaded 20TPI. The barrel would move in .050 in one turn so a 1/8 turn would move it in...

Barrel Lug

Are you suggesting a recoil lug as a means of securing the action? It may work, I have not seen it on any of these rim fires.

Al My original barrel was not really square to the receiver and it did touch one side of the stock. I think the stocks may have been too flexible and with the pressure on the barrel from the...

The rim of the case is outside of the barrel. When you cut the chamber with the reamer you do not cut into the cone that is on the rear of the barrel. I left extra material in the area where the...
