Finally almost complete. Opinions welcome.

I started this build a long time ago (March 08) and never finished. Recently a friend picked up a 10/22 so I had to finish mine to stay on par with him.

I'm not sure what to think about my stock....

Some specific help with scope fitment

So I've been working with a caliper for about 2 hours now and I'm about to rip my hair out.

I have a 10/22T with a Meuller APV and BKL 257's on it.
The objective lens sits rather high (half inch)...

Don't worry about it. You can use a conical grinding stone if you want. Just remove the metal land round it out.
