A 1717 should do a good bit better than that with ammunition it likes, I'd try moving that front rest back towards the magazine as well, just my personal experience with mine. Great rifles.

A 9mm 1911 is relatively cheap to shoot, my Ruger is accurate and very easy to manage, any good 9mm 1911 will make a very fun shooter and with good ammo, a excellent defensive tool.:bthumb:

I shoot 500/800/1000 yards with both a custom built 6.5 Creedmoor and a custom 6 Creedmoor, I use Sightron STAC 4-20x MOA 2 (SFP) scopes on both, I do not shoot competitively but have no problem...
