I had this problem with cheap ammo, which I don't use anymore. Mini mags or copper plated boolits run well. It also helps to clean the cylinder every few hundred rounds and keep it a little wet.

Marlin 2000 range trip #2

Took the Marlin back to the range to zero the sights yesterday. Did some shooting at 50' and then 75'. I am impressed with it's accuracy at 25yds.
Hopefully I'll get some 50yd shooting in soon....

Some suggestions -
Run a few hundred rounds through it before testing for accuracy (This used to be SOP for 22s).

Then try different types of ammo.

If you don't like your results after that...
