Did you have a bad experience with a .22lr as a child? Your past posts suggest your not too fond of the round. As far as rimfire go the .22lr has the highest potential for accuracy out to 100 yards.

The reason for this is because most of the time someone posts a "I just bought a 10/22" they are asking about how to fix some type of problem they are having or they are trying to get better accuracy...

It is nice to see new things for the 10/22 platform. But $250 for a 3.5# trigger that IMO is kinda ugly just doesn't do it for me. Not much info in the article other than the mag release. That and...

You could use the scope base and mount a scope on it or buy another barrel that had sights already installed. The target models are setup to shoot with optics.

I somehow missed where you had originally said you had the -10 Kidd spring installed. I have Kidd guide rods in every single one of my 10/22's and they all have the medium spring installed. I used to...

You should be getting 5 shot 50 yard groups at around 1-1 1/4". If they are better than that then I would say that you lucked out with a good OEM barrel.

I would just send it back to Ruger. No point in trying better ammo. If you already tried a VQ extractor and are still having problems then it's probably the rifle itself. You shouldn't have that kind...

I also agree with Rick that you can't go wrong with a Kidd or Feddersen. I have a few of each and used to have 2 TacSol (still have one) barrels. They look nice but they're not in the same league as...

If your going to be shooting at 200 yards I would recommend getting a 20-25 moa base or a set of Burris Signature rings with the offset inserts. I don't know exactly how much elevation is needed at...

As mentioned the barrel material will not make a difference in accuracy. The same goes for barrel length, it's more a matter of preference. Heavy bb's are usually going to be more accurate than a...

There is no difference. You use AO (adjustable objective) to adjust the parallax (explained above) in a scope. Some scopes have a side adjustment and some have it on the front objective.

I see them too, but I also noticed that their doesn't seem to be any interest in them at that price. At least not the 3-9×. You can get a VX-3 6.5-20× for that price. The 3-9×'s that I've actually...

The Timber Creek ones are ok. They are a little thin. I've tried most if not all of the wrap around ones and for an OEM trigger group the TacSol ones are the best IMHO as far as ease of use and looks.

If you can get that kind of 10 shot group off a bipod, with a Bushnell RD, and Aguilla ammo at 75-85 yards I'd love to see what it would do with a scope, some match ammo, and a rest.
