Let me count the ways

AR magazines won't fit in the ARX-160. Sure you could file out the mag well, but then you wouldn't be able to use it as a .22 again.

The bolt carrier group for the ARX-100 won't physically fit in...

OK, here are a couple pictures

Wood is sort of plain, but except for a few dings, in good shape for being 57 years old or so. There are a few spots where the bluing is worn on the barrel. 252057

Post I did, yesterday.

So the serial # is in the high 6000's, and the date code on the barrel is XX which is 1964, according to Beretta codes I have. Looks to be the first year of manufacture. I've spent 5 hours cleaning...

Question Maybe, early Italian one

I looked at all the Weatherby magazines I have and none look quite like that. But the metal and base plate do look a lot like the Beretta .22 magazines for the Olimpia/Sport/Super Sport. So since...

Seems you are right.

The Gun Digest Assembly/Disassembly instructions say that you're right, but doesn't say what sized punch to use. The instructions are...brief.

Italian Weatherby

So my wife and I were on a trip to get craft supplies and I used this as an excuse to hit small gun shops. Found an Italian Weatherby for less than $400. Wood is pretty but no rosewood/accents. ...

Model 76. That's where I'd start, as they were supposed to be identical.

Post Neos rail

I think in looking at mine, you'd have to drift the three roll pins out to separate the rail from the underlying piece. It looks like there is a screw at the back, but that's probably the elevation...

Thumbs up Glad there are a couple different options.

I bought a mount from Lakeside Machine and it installed easy and seems rock solid. It certainly helped realize the accuracy of the heavy barrel because after sighting in, cloverleaf group at both 50...

Triple K

My Triple K mag didn't insert fully into the magazine well. It went in about 1.2" and then stuck. I was able to ease it in with a rubber mallet, but it required the same rubber mallet to extract. It...

I looked in the manual and it doesn't say another other than "good ammunition".

I've shot the following through the heavy barrel at 25 yards. I tried 50 yards but the front blade was a little too...

Post Might take the stock off to find hidden rust.

Both rifles I removed the stock on had considerable amounts of surface rust on both the action and the bottom of the barrel. Not more than oil and steel wool would remove but enough that reassembling...
