Curious what scope you used and your impressions of it.
I bought a very cheap CVLife 4x32 for about $17 on Amazon (that was including rings too :) ) I've not yet made up my mind if it's worth...

I think the extreme is to adjust the screw till you can't assemble the rifle, then back it off a click or two - that will give you the stability you need.

From the factory they come horribly...

I have the same scope on my Takedown and really like it - my son loves it too - he thinks it's 'cool'. It's a great buy.
I've had the same results - consistent accuracy - at least given my limited...

If you haven't, read up on setting the barrel...

If you haven't, read up on setting the barrel tension screw, and get that as snug as you can. That can make a huge difference in accuracy when using a receiver mounted optic.
