The stock drop on my GB is OK for the iron sights, or peep sights. Just don't plan on a scope or you'll be doing a "chin weld." The wood on my GB is much nicer than on my frontier.

I have an octagon barrel GB and get 1/2 inch at 50 all day. Just to warn you ... it takes 2 or 3 shots to warm up before it settles down to that kind of accuracy.

+1 .. If you want a lighter primer for T7 use CCI 209ML primers. They are the best for that powder but will not be reliable for BH209. Also check yesterday's thread about breech plug conversions.

I haven't seen a horse mounted event, but they do have them. As I understand the rules, guns are loaded with blanks. You ride up to the target and the muzzle blast is enough to knock the target over....
