I compared the A17HMR bolt smoothness to the 17HM2 and it’s night and day. The 17HMR is butter smooth while the 17HM2 feels gritty even lubed up.

The Accu-trigger on my A17 HMR didn’t go lower than 5 pounds. After sending it back to Savage it’s at a nice 2.5 pounds. I’m pretty sure they’re going to use the same trigger in the 17 Mach 2.

I replaced the stock on my A17HMR with a Boyds and it came out being over $50 than buying one with it. I’m probably going to wait until almost squirrel season to see if that option is available.
