Have you handled a P22? They are tiny (and I don't have huge hands). The S&W .22 Compact is tiny as well, and they have had some issues. The P22 has had issues over the years also, but that may be...

Thanks for the info!

I might do something similar to my PPQ .22 sights eventually.

Was the Williams sight for the M&P .22? Standard and Compact use the same? (Guns are made by different...

Thanks.

If I recall correctly, it's a UTG universal clamp-on bipod.

In order to use one with shorter legs like I have you need to cut down the magazine. With the standard mag the bipod would...

Nice collection of a wide range of .22s.

I'm on a Walther forum, and there isn't usually any thing bad that comes up about the PPQ. The P22, often mixed up with the PPQ, is significantly different and usually more problematic. Newer P22s...

I didn't want a Ruger (had one, sold it) or Buckmark either. Both are decent guns, but not what I was looking for.

I like the TX (new barrel but the PPQ just feels better to me.

The P22 is...

Not sure about all the proof marks, but as far as we can tell they are not made in Ulm like the other (larger) PPQs. That, in itself, isn't a reason not to buy one IMO.

All "M2" means, as far as...

Congrats on the new gun!

Did the set-screw come loose on the rear sight? I had to make a windage adjustment on my PPQ .22 the other night, and I did notice there was blue threadlocker on the...

Have you tried CCI Standard Velocity?

The TX doesn't need HV ammo to function, so I would say it just increase wear.

CCI SV is usually more accurate and less expensive than MiniMags too.

My TX will function with almost anything, but I feel HV rounds may be hard on the mechanics of the gun so I use SV ammo. CCI Standard works great, and...

I don't think you would have any issues shooting 100 rounds rapidly.

The PPQ .22 5" is decent by all accounts, but not really a target gun. Though I've not seen any targets with match ammo shot...

Congrats on the new Walther.

It has been said that Walther recommends only CCI Mini Mags for the P22, and it looks like you proved that as well.

I didn't find any casting marks, and the vinegar test suggested aluminum, so I'm pretty confident the side is aluminum and not cast zinc.
