Number one reason is a dirty trigger assembly. Wash it out thoroughly with a strong solvent such as carb or brake cleaner. Then blow dry.
I would try this first before digging any deeper.

Sight should be marked on rear surface of body with model number. The 48F was used typically on the Sporter models, while the 48FH was listed for Target rifles. Check back side, and see if it is not...
