Worked on Pipelines in the early 1970's. We welded to -45 degrees. One morning it was raw, -63 degrees,no windshield factor. Area was in the North West Territories.

Got the firearm back this weekend. Stamp on barrel is Model2, not 2E. Rifling is 12 groove, is that common for a 1973 Model2?

Recently picked up a BRNO MOdel2E. It is different from all the others I have seen. Wood is walnut, without the schnaubel(?) style stock. Have only seen what appears to be stained Beech wood....

Recently picked up a H&R Model 250. Noticed "Made in Canada" stamped on receiver. I did not know that H&R's were made in Canada. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a .223 Varmint model. One of the most accurate production rifles I have ever owned! Both Varget, and Benchmark work well. Accurate with bullet weights from 55gr. to 90gr., prefers 80 gr. match.
