similar to hammer forging-but there is no internal mandrel

This is all done externally jus to be clear.

Also, I have doubts how this would work on the larger caliber powder burners-as we call 'em. Not agressive enough to impart the proper twist at those...

I am very impressed with my GM Running Boar barrel

It fits the factory channel & has a weighted end for better offhand balance. It shoots better than my heart rate will allow if ya know what I mean.

Offhand it is my favorite. I'm using a T-hole...

Breakthrough in barrel making? Smoothbore with rifling swaged from the outside!

First off howdy-
I don't post much but this area is a good wealth of info. I have a very nice homespun 10/22 with a GM running boar barrel. Love that gun but I don't get to shoot it much due to...

They are Ok for tinkering-But I'd go for the Ruger Airhawk(RWS34 copy)

Better gun in the price range. The switch barrel feature is nifty-but the gun is a full of foul grease & needs some serious TLC. Just my opinion but I have tuned several. Also, the barrels can be a...

Exclamation I'd strongly reccomend a target version of the QB from Archers

I have been through many fine airguns-One of my favorites is a low $ target gun-Co2 powered but there are many many upgrades available.

Stepehen Archer has done a lot for the airgun community...

Question Heavy target stock for standard taper barrel??(Running boar)

I have the mind to build a bondo monster-that should take care of the weight!
But I prefer a T-hole medium comb stock with a benchrest style forend.

Looking through the list is impressive &...

Thumbs up Well,I got her out after "De-Humping"

I thought that would do the magic trick...But alas I only gained 1-2" from the previous elevation adjustment.

I do lots of airgun work & had a set of RWS adjustable mounts. They adjust windage &...

I do believe the reciever is just as the factory made it..

The factory barrel was fair sloppy in the reciever. I tried the hot/cold & the barrel would not get started even. I do own a lathe & the sanding was done evenly.
I also have 20+ years as a auto tech...

Question Droop issues...Reciever fit is perfect(Imho)-Why??

Howdy Y'all!
Just fitted a nice GM Running Boar. Very accurate barrel & I am very impressed by the quality.

When I fitted it I had to sand it lightly, just past the bluing to get the fit right. I...

Thumbs down Return the dangerously designed P.O.S. & send a nasty note to Beemans!

Just have to sound harsh here as it's about time they stop selling the DIRECT SEAR DESIGN.It is unsafe IMHO & should never be used on a spring gun of this power. Any attempts tolighten the pull will...

I'd bet that's an optical effect that is due to the "strength" of the color-compared to black it is definitely a different spectrum. That may have something to do with it but I'm just guessin....
