Windage knob

You are right about that 8-50 tpi thread pitch not being common. I tried to reach out to Aperturesnmore but was getting a message from their server that I couldn't post to it. I did register an...

Pics coming

I will try rotating the knob again. Clearance is a little tight with the peep sight and my big fingers. Maybe I will put a little spray lube to break it free.

I will be posting pics of front sight...

Mossberg update

I took a couple of pics. I think the marks must be for bolt assembly alignment. I don't see any way that cocking knob can rotate because it is attached to sleeve which is also part of the sear.
The...

Just picked up a 6A at Cabelas yesterday for $199. Appears to be in nice shape for age. It has a WFC150 rear peep and alloy trigger guard and D&T'd for a side mount. It is stamped Chicopee falls...

Just picked up a 46 at Cabelas yesterday. Seems to be in decent shape for its age. Has a nicely figured stock with a Redfield globe front sight and Mossberg #4 rear peep. Rear peep has some damage to...

I took mine out today for a little exercise. Worked great even though the follower is missing. The only learning curve is to remember to not have your palm directly under the action port. You get...

Took the model 5 out today. Shoots really well offhand even with weird trigger. I think I can make a shim to tighten up the slop around the trigger pivot pin. I also think I can make a shim to take...

I am away from home and don't have access to a caliper or mic. Best guess with a tape measure is 5/8 inch or .625 center to center.
