You just trim the sides and I prefer to radius the back, bottom to match the rear lug of the pistol.

Chim came up with the idea and it does change the recoil impulse.

It is a Nomad that someone put a Medalist barrel and weights on it.
I agree that the price is too high. If it had a couple factory mags and the original barrel then the price wouldnít be too bad.

That is a good question.

I can usually tell if there is a thread issue with a barrel when I move my suppressor from gun to gun. The issue will show up real quick.

Kiddís tapered barrels are now my favorites. I buy them threaded on the muzzle so I can use a suppressor. The thread cap is so good, you canít even see where the joint is.

The only issue I had on one barrel is that the treads were a little loose and I had to made sure I seated the suppressor...

The Kidd tapered sporter barrel is heavier than a factory Ruger barrel. Iíve had to hand fit standard barrel channels to take the Kidd Sporter barrel, but the accuracy is worth it.

I havenít had any issues, but I used all high quality Kidd internals and barrels.
