I have that exact rifle/scope except my rifle is left handed and the scope reticle is LRFCH. It shoots very well. It likes Lapua/SK ammo. I never found an Eley that it liked.

I don't know what you have setup in your back yard. If you have a bench and use rests and 36x causes sighting problems, then you need a better setup. If you are just plinking, then maybe what you...

What do you mean that a 36x scope was "just to much"? At 36x I can tell that my cross hairs are inside a 1/8 inch diameter bull. With a 50x scope I can see that my cross hairs are "cutting" the 1/8...

Sorry to ask a beginners question, but does tuning only compensates for vertical dispersion in POI? I thought tuning would give a smaller group size which would imply that tuning also has an effect...

Do the rings come with any inserts? Shooting at 50 yards, I have never used any MOA inserts with Burris rings. (I guess that is 0 MOA.) Do these rings/inserts need lapping? Also, I notice that the...

Take a look at Sightron scopes. Either the SII36X42 or the SIII1050X60LR. For any serious BR shooting, I think 36X is the minimum.

Good luck, Jim

I have a 1913 in a BR50-U7 stock. I love it! But, I think it depends on how you intend to use it. I like it for shooting groups from the bench. The straight line U7 recoils straight back, cross hairs...

I use a Pro Shot 22cal rimfire rod. It measures 0.195 inches. As mentioned earlier, the 20cal rods have different threads than the 22cal rods.

What do you mean by "new Anschutz"? If you mean 2013 or 54.30, you won't find a new one for $2,500. How serious are you going to be shooting from a bench? If just casual fun, you might be better off...
