Highland Arms in Abingdon, VA has both versions. IMO the weight difference isn't all that noticeable. The CF barrel is lighter but I wouldn't pay the difference for one.

I have started "using" a shim. It's not needed...

I have started "using" a shim. It's not needed but I did notice I was chewing up the small o'ring. To prevent that damage is the only reason I use the shim.
