No they wouldn't. The post above explains the trigger was replaced with a 2 oz for ammo testing and the original WITH SAFETY has not been replaced for field shooting.

I wish before I go to rimfire heaven I could shoot a 10 shot group like that at 100 yds.

I have a 40X Mountain Rifle that I enjoy very much. I bought it from a friend many years ago and shoots very well.

It is mentioned in the Remington book of 22s but there are no production numbers...

Especially when they make their own barrels. I had the same issues a few years ago with a 6.5-284. You'd think a company who produces barrels would be sure to have most caliber/twist rates in stock...
