Don't think its old? Thought the classic was 3-9X38 and made in Japan.. There is a rimfire 3-9x 40and it looks different. Am curious to the quality.

scope cleaner

Have a good scope that has been stored for years and has little oily gunk on the lens. Is there a good cleaner to use?

Best youth hunting 10/22 almost done for my son

Ok, maybe not the best but loving it so far. Is it still hard to post pics on here? Never did cause it was so hard. Got the youth wood stock from Brownells and added 5/8" spacer to give it a 12" lop....

The HP is a fine scope. The DOA reticle is better than the v-plex. Also the HP is better glass than the standard diamond back.

Pretty much never. If I want speed I have three 1.5-5x32 scopes that IMO are as fast or faster than open sight if I plan on hitting anything.

Yes. It had everything but the barrel and v-block on it. When I tightened down the takedown screw right at the end the back raised up slightly. I could push it down by hand but it didn't stay down....

I have the 17" fluted barrel tampered barrel on mine. It shoots great but while not a bull barrel it is thickened and not light weight for a youth. Appreciate the info though.

I called them. They said it should do 1/2" but not garrentied at 50 yrds with almost any decent ammo. I do realize the smaller stock might affect that some with recoil but it will be free floated...
