Well I heard back from Ruger today about the broken firing pin and breech face damage. They are going to replace the pistol. They will send it through my local FFL dealer.

I mailed mine off today, Ruger provided the shipping label. I emailed Volquartsen about their firing pin and Scott V. responded that it would work so I ordered one.

Sorry, I'm not sure how to post pictures, but mine broke in the same place as the picture you referenced. I don't do a lot of dry firing. It is interesting that the firing pin has that extra hole.

Upon further review, I agree with Barney 4174,...

Upon further review, I agree with Barney 4174, the flange at the base of the bolt stop pin appears to prevent the receiver from mating with the frame properly.
