The outer barrel sleeve on the Superlite is carbon fiber, but you can also choose the option of an aluminum outer sleeve.

They are just 'fancy' 10/22s, but to me, well worth the price. :bthumb:

I have one PSA 8.5" upper and another on the way. I've had the first one for a number of years and never a moment's trouble. It is indeed a CMMG pattern bolt/barrel.

Volquartsen is the only one who comes to mind, and they only make the Summit in .17 HM2 (which uses a 10/22 barrel shank)., but i don't think they offer the barrels as parts.

If the trigger housing is installed, remove it and try the bolt... to figure out what is binding.

If it still doesn't move, look at the recoil rod and make sure the pointed tip hasn't pooped free...
