I think the early K22 had smaller 6-48 scope base...

I think the early K22 had smaller 6-48 scope base screws and then later they changed to larger 8-40. See if the standard weaver scope base screws fit? They are 6-48.

Good idea. If it is not windy I will give that a try. 50 and 100 for the 17. I usually set up on the 50 yard range with my rimfires at our gun club. I will go down to the 100 yard range also.

Your front sight should measure .450" from flat bottom of dovetail to top of sight. This is from measuring an original.

Stay away from the 10 round. Word is that they have a different curve to make the extra rounds work. The 5 rounders work fine. They work in my 57M and they also worked in my Anschutz.

How many of those knives have ended up with duct tape handles? In the hands of a grandkid and used to clear blackberries and brush? Then thrown at a tree and broken! Glad you are restoring this one.
