Pellets were cheep at Otasco back then and so were .22 LR ammo. CIL Imperial .22 LR $.49 a box.

The spring and plunger is missing from the bolt. This takes the slop out of the bolt and holds it tight against the locking lugs preventing a good bit of vibration .

They will make a slight increase in trigger pull but only in ozs. The trigger can be adjusted back to where you were.
