The Marlin 25mn is a 3/8 grooved receiver. The XTR rings are for picatiny rails only. Talley makes a really solid vertical split ring for dovetailed Marlins, about $50.

Those Prostaff ii have gone up. BPS had them down to $109 for a long time. Maybe they will again after Christmas. The Nikon rimfire EFR was down to $130 for a while and it is back up to $190.
