Wrong wrench for scopes. Need a torque screw driver like a FAT wrench which measures in inch/lbs not foot/lbs. 15 - 18 inch/lbs are adequate for most scopes unless you are shooting high recoil...

A question about lead bullets

So I've been looking at data about barrel makers and rifling preferences. It seems that everyone is looking for the correct balance of getting the bullet spinning without the rifling deforming the...

For rabbits and squirrels at 200, I would opt for .17 HMR. Still rimfire but twice the fps and energy of .22 lr. Unfortunately, they don't make match quality ammo for .17 HMR so if you are shooting...

Curious. Why would CCI TNT be more accurate than the CCI V-Max? It's seems to be the same load with the difference being the hollowpoint vs the poly-tip bullet. At 100 yds the V-Max has higher...

At least on version 1 guns, the fore grip is flimsy and round. Also it is typically not concentric around the barrel (crooked). The Seekins is much sturdier and has a flat bottom which sits much...

Time will tell on the RPR .22 but I'd still keep an eye out for a used Annie; there are deals out there. I found a 54 Match for $850 on Armslist. Stock's a little worse for wear but it shoots...

I've had my 6.5 CM RPR for about 3 years and it shoots lights-out with Hornady ELD-M; even better than my $4,000 custom 6.5 CM. You need to change out the fore end guard though; it's junk. Seekins...
