I remember a post years ago (by Skeeter27red, I think) where some shim stock was epoxied into the receiver to take up the slop...it had no effect on the accuracy :(

doesn't surprise me then that the TK trigger didn't work with the KIDD stuff as the geometry between the KIDD and a standard Ruger trigger is different...shouldn't work in...

actually, it shows up most when people are installing peep sights, with the rear sight fixed to the receiver and the front sight on the barrel, it shows how far off the alignment between the two are

yup, every time I think about getting another trigger assembly for a build, I contemplate getting something like a KIDD, but then I think about how good my BX's have been and remember they only cost...

I'm using a standard 16" Compact barrel with good results...but I'm using it for sniping rats around the out buildings, so I'm only shooting it at about 25 feet max

haven't tried it at any further...
