My threaded cz is a 16" but i have shot about all barrel lengths from a 9" sbr to 20" and with a good can and subsonic ammo it really doesn't matter much . A 10-22 will be louder due to action...

Own both .. Prefer the cz carbine for kicking around walkabout rifle , and the T3 for prairie dogs, bench shooting , ect. Magazines are considerably easier to find for the cz than the t3 as well...
