WD-40 is not my 1st choice or 20th to spray anywhere on any gun. Just my opinion, it is not a lubricant, it is a moisture displacer.

Just personal opinion but a personís hearing is too valuable to take a chance with. I would wear ear protection even with a suppressor with both of those ammo choices.
