I think the Ruger SP 101 would be a good gun, but there is a caveat. From the factory, the SP 101 triggers are just plain horrible. But for about ten bucks a Wolff spring kit will give you a really...

I have a Model 12 NRA Target model. Haven't checked the price on it lately, but about 4 years ago, it was worth around $1200. If you buy a Model 12 (whether the A, B, or C model), do not, repeat, DO...

I just got finished putting together my first non-Ruger 10/22. Well, almost non-Ruger. The one Ruger part is a BX-Trigger. The rifle is built on a TI black receiver, and uses a TI bolt, Kidd charging...

I bought one a month or so ago. Best gun accessory money I've ever spent. The ten round mags are no problem either with or without the mag loader, but on the 15 and 25 round mags, it's a lifesaver....

I think we need to find out what sort of rifle this guy is talking about. Since it's in a 10/22 forum, it's easy to assume that it's a 10/22, but there's an equally good chance that it isn't. If it's...

I bought a BX trigger, and a TI trigger housing AND BLADE, and put the BX trigger internal parts in the TI housing. Worked great, and nobody knows that it's a BX trigger. Now whether that would work...

I think Ruger started putting their name on the bolt after the 2014 model year. In 2014, they put the 50th anniversary on the bolt, and the following year, started putting the Ruger name on the bolt....

I have a1966 Finger Groove Sporter with a serial number of 50xxx, so according to the Ruger website, your 10/22 would have been made in 1965, or the second year of production. Nice find. You ought to...

Although it doesn't require special tools, Gunsmither makes a tool that makes it really easy to remove and reinstall the safety. I wound up drilling a pencil to use for that, but Gunsmither's tool...

50th Anniversary bolt would place it in 2014. I have a 10/22 that I bought in 2014, and it has that bolt. That was the only year that Ruger put a year on the bolt.

Have all you guys forgotten how Bush stabbed gun owners in the back with the first "Assault Weapons" ban, and then gave up his membership in the NRA? I personally don't miss him at all.

Well, I did it again. It's all Chaser's fault for telling me about JWH having a sale on bolts. Price was too good to pass up, so I bought a couple. Then I started thinking. I have a Green Mountain...
