Took the time to take the 15-22 apart.....soaked trigger in CLP....blew everything out, and it fixed it.

It did not look that dirty, but obviously it was.

I took that plastic piece out some time back....just because it was commented on. I don't have any basis as to what it did, but glad to see you've resolved your issue by just removing it.

I notice many have less than an inch of adjustment to them. The one I linked to has quite a bit more. Not sure I like those springs though.

I've used a bag, and that's find with me....but....I have a wheelchair bound nephew that I want to help shoot, and will be buying a tripod for my 15-22 to enable that.
